These agents believe that if a homeowner is in bankruptcy, he can't sell his property.  This couldn't be further from the truth.  The fact of the matter is that a seller in bankruptcy must get the permission of the bankruptcy court before he can sell the property.  The reason for this is that once a homeowner files bankruptcy, all of his property, both real and personal, becomes the property of the bankruptcy estate and the homeowner simply retains possession of it.
