Ed Zubia began his career at the young age of twelve years old.  During his summer vacations he worked for a Bankruptcy Attorney as a file clerk in Los Angeles, CA.  He enjoyed this opportunity and would return every summer to fulfill his duties as a file clerk.  By the time he was eighteen he had learned so much that he was promoted to run the entire office.

After a couple years of this he decided to work for a Foreclosure Listing Company.  Here he was able to add to his knowledge base and learned yet another special skill set in foreclosures, notices of defaults & notices of trustee sales, its laws and procedures.  Taking what he had learned at the attorney’s office and combining it with the experience at the foreclosure listing company made him qualified to work with the listing company’s clients.  Here he became a specialist at creating and implementing marketing plans in order to help the maximum amount of clients possible.

At the age of twenty one he started working for a mortgage company.  Again, combining his past experience within a new segment of the industry proved to be quite beneficial to his now mortgage customers.  Knowing much about both foreclosure and bankruptcy laws & procedures helped in procuring more mortgage clients.  Because of his experience and unmatchable work ethic he was able to help more clients than anybody else in the company.  More importantly he was able to help more homeowners save their properties.

In 1993, at the age of twenty-three he returned to the legal field and starting working with another bankruptcy attorney.  Here he was responsible for the implementation of marketing plans to maximize the number of clients that the company could help to resolve their financial troubles permanently.  However, this time around he worked more closely with clients and was able to get more personally involved with both the cases and families facing hardship.  He met a lot of great families that were going through challenging times.  He found that many of his clients were in a position that required them to sell their property.  Often these properties were in perfectly good condition and in good areas.

Unfortunately, more often than not his soon to be clients would hire an agent that was inexperienced or under qualified to handle these types of troubled transactions properly.  Ed would do as much as he could to assist the agents and see to it that the property made it to escrow.  This was another area of concern as most escrow & title companies were not familiar with bankruptcy procedures and this often led to additional challenges.  Again, this is where Ed would come.  The law office would prepare the necessary bankruptcy papers to close escrow while Ed made sure all parties were prepared to act effectively.  He did everything humanly possible for a successful close but it was very challenging to work with people unfamiliar with the court systems & procedures involved.  Upon close of escrow his clients would then get the proceeds they were entitled to.

Ed found himself more often than not, sick to his stomach to hear the stories from his clients and other people around him that were having financial challenges.  Cases where the real estate agent did not help them out or put in any effort at all to help get their property sold.  Occasionally the homes would be foreclosed on.  Sometimes the clients were so desperate they would assign their property to shark investors for a few thousand dollars only to cover moving expenses.  There were cases of people losing fifty, one hundred thousand and sometimes even more money or equity due to their lack of proper representation. This was hard earned money that these families could have used to get back on track and start their lives over again.   Instead, it was disgusting to see all the loss.

In 2001 Ed decided to get his real estate license to help prevent as many of these tragedies as he possibly could.   He assembled a team of title & escrow specialists that are familiar with these court procedures.  They are positioned perfectly to help even the most challenged and troubled properties that may exist.  His mission, to help each and every client sell their property for current market value and avoid being taken advantage of by shark investors, real estate agents or brokers that are in it for self serving interests rather than their clients best interest.  Ed has been helping people put their financial problems behind them permanently for many years and continues to do so in these most challenging times.
